IRē Flame Sensor

(For applications with visible light present)

The new Series 16000 Sensors are the most recent stage in our continual product development.

These sensors will operate on a conventional 2 wire (14-28Vdc) fire systems or 4-20mA process control systems. Relay contacts are also available for Fire and Fault signals. The sensors operating modes can be user selected giving a choice of alarm currents, response times, latching or non-latch outputs and sensitivity.

Internal self-test sources will check the sensors operation when remotely instructed. The sensors have a maximum ambient operating temperature of 55°C.

Intrinsically Safe (IS) Flame Detectors for Hazardous Areas

These sensors have been approved by BASEEFA (British Approvals Service for Electrical Equipment in Flammable Atmospheres) to EN50014, EN50020 and EN50284.The requirements of Directive 94/9/EC, the ATmosphere EXplosives ATEX Directive have also been met.

 

The sensors are certified;
