Flame Detectors - Testing

Flame Detector Testing

The majority of Talentum detectors can be instructed to perform a self-test. This is achieved by causing internal LEDS to flicker in the field of view of the detector, thus simulating the behaviour of flames. However we do provide a range of other test devices, including a compact, portable electronic testing unit.

Compatible with all detectors from the Talentum Flame Detector Range;

- UV/IR
  - IR3

  - IR2
  - IR

Testing in Hazardous Area
These units are intended for service engineers to use, when performing commissioning and routine maintenance. In hazardous area applications (Ex), the permit issued to check the detector housings should also include for the use of the test unit as none of the testers have (Ex) approval
