Talentum Overview
Talentum Developments specialises in the development and manufacture of flame detectors. We started in 1968 with the invention of a device that would respond to sparks in pneumatic conveying and dust extraction systems. We applied these principles to the monitoring of flames and in 1974 the first such system was installed on a power station boiler. Since then many such systems have been installed around the world. We are now focused on the development of flame detection products for the fire protection industry.

  • Baseefa updates and improves the ‘Exd’ Flameproof products ATEX certifications

2008

  • The purchase of two adjacent factory units doubling the Talentum floor space
  • BRE & LPCB, CPD product certification for the IR2 Flame Detectors to EN54-10:2002
  • Baseefa issues System Certificate for ‘IS’ products to EN 60079-25 standard
  • Baseefa certifies ‘IS’ products to the new EN 60079 standards

  • BRE & LPCB, CPD (Construction Product Directive) EC-Certificates of Conformity for IR3 Flame Detector product range
  • BRE & LPCB, FPC (Factory Production Control) certification of the manufacturing conditions
